SAN ANTONIO – A seven-vehicle collision on the Northeast Side of San Antonio sent four people to local hospitals with injuries on Saturday, February 21, 2026, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Nacogdoches Road and Judson Road when one vehicle reportedly ran a red light. The impact of the initial collision caused another vehicle to become airborne, subsequently colliding with other vehicles involved in the pile-up, police said at the scene.
Emergency responders transported four individuals to area hospitals for treatment. One of those injured, the driver who ran the red light, sustained a broken collarbone and a broken shoulder. The injuries sustained by the other three individuals were described as non-life-threatening.
The San Antonio Police Department is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. The incident prompted a temporary closure of lanes at the intersection, causing traffic delays for commuters.
