8 players at Al-Ahly Hospital before meeting Simba

Imam Ashour, the midfielder of the first football team at Al-Ahly club, suffered a severe injury during his participation in the Egyptian national team’s match against New Zealand, in the friendly Egyptian Capital Cup tournament.

Imam Ashour was injured in the shoulder during the first half of the match between Egypt and New Zealand, and he left crying as a result and was unable to complete the match.

Imam Ashour was transferred to a hospital near Misr Stadium, after the severe injury he suffered in the shoulder.

Imam Ashour is supposed to undergo an x-ray to reveal the details of his injury and the duration of his absence from Al-Ahly Club.

Imam Ashour, the second Al-Ahly player, became injured with the Egyptian national team during the current international break. Hussein Al-Shahat had suffered a back muscle injury before he left the camp.

Imam Ashour joins Al-Ahly club’s injury list, before facing Simba of Tanzania in the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.

Al-Ahly Hospital includes Imam Ashour, Mohamed El-Shenawy, Aliou Dieng, Yasser Ibrahim, Wissam Abu Ali, Mohamed Al-Dawy Christo, Ahmed Nabil Kouka, and Hussein Al-Shahat.

Al-Ahly will face Simba of Tanzania in the first leg on March 29, while the return match will be held on April 5 at Cairo Stadium.
