More from ForbesiOS 15: When exactly will Apple release an iPhone upgrade that breaks the show?

Last Tuesday, Apple launched four new iPhones, a new Apple Watch, a 9th-generation iPad and a 6th-generation iPad mini. as part of my week things no one ever told you The feature tracked some underreported items on Wednesday.

To be honest, you may have seen some of them by now in a few days, but hopefully there are still undiscovered gems in this extension that was on AppleUnboxed.

In addition to the eight iPhone items, there are also three Apple Watch nuggets.

What am I missing about keywords?

My God, there was a lot going on at Apple’s events. Below is a selection of items that have not been announced on stage or have been silenced.

1. Movie mode is suitable for dogs.

and other animals and objects. You can achieve the same bokeh effect not only with people, but also with videos with dogs and other animals. That’s great.

2. The new MagSafe wallet works with Find My.

Above all, it is wise to be patient. There is a pause before the iPhone gets a notification that the wallet is no longer connected to the iPhone. After all, you can simply manipulate it, for example, to remove a card.

3. The cameras on iPhone Pro and Pro Max look the same.

Last year, the Snapdragon Max was a lot bigger than the iPhone 12 Pro, but this time it looks the same. The iPhone 13 camera is much larger than the iPhone 12 camera. In fact, this year’s iPhone has a pretty big camera.

4. No, I still don’t see the battery percentage on the screen. Damn it.

By now, you’ve probably heard that the extra screen space on the new iPhone wasn’t used to show the battery percentage on the screen. The same goes for the iPhone 13 Pro Max! No, you have to swipe down from the top right of the screen to see it.

That’s right, it used to be. It’s almost instinctive now, but I’d love to be permanently on screen again. Some have suggested that an iOS update can fix this, but after extensive inquiries, I don’t think this is on Apple’s plan.

5. The macro camera gets very close.

It’s exactly close to 2cm or less than an inch, so you can get really close.

Of course, the Pro iPhone has 3x more telephoto zoom instead of 2x the iPhone 12 Pro and 2.5x the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

6. Pro cameras with similar features and appearance

Last year’s Pro iPhone differed in camera features and design, but this time it’s exactly the same.

7. No, last year’s problem is not solved

Newer phones are so small that you might think last year’s cases would fit, but they aren’t. The first is because the camera panel has a different size, and the second is because the positions of some buttons are slightly different.

To be honest, the number of people who upgrade their iPhones each year is far from everyone, so this is less of a deal than it looks.

More from ForbesApple iOS 15 is a great upgrade for iPhone users.

8. Not all iPhone 13 Pro models are the same.

Especially when it comes to ProRes, an advanced video codec that will be coming to the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. However, not all have the same features. ProRes takes up a lot of storage space, so Apple decided that you would need an iPhone Pro with at least 256GB of storage to use ProRes at 4K 30fps. So the entry-level iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max with 128GB of storage will only go 1080p at 30fps.

ProRes isn’t out yet, so Apple may reconsider it and update its decision.

Apple Watch News

1. Hello, Apple Watch Leather Loop

Yes, the leather rings are gone, but the leather links and modern buckles are still available.

2. But all old watch bands work on the new Apple Watch Series 7.

This is very good news. This is true even though the new range is marked with 42mm and 45mm compared to 40mm and 44mm.

3. Apple Watch Series 7 has a new charging cable.

It’s 33% faster when recharging, but the old cable still works. It just isn’t fast. Since then, it has become clear that the new and updated USB-C cable is already integrated with the Apple Watch SE, but not the Apple Watch Series 3.

another thing

Inspired by the great but now outdated Dwight Silverman newsletter, this AppleUnboxed post includes a weekly pet photo treat. Silverman used this to show off her smartphone photos. So am I.

This is a live photo. So, although Apple opted for a frame with my dog’s ears low, I was able to tweak the selection and choose a frame with the dog’s ears dropping from the listening position. She didn’t get too excited because she actually lifted her head. I understand, but this is the dog for you.
