Ayman al-Zawahiri has been leading al Qaeda since 2011 after the death of Osama bin Laden.

On the 11th, 20 years after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, he released a video message.

They wanted to fight to spread ‘jihad’, that is, Islam.

“The United States has been withdrawn from Afghanistan after 20 years,” he said.

As rumors spread that Al-Zawahiri died recently, it is interpreted that he is trying to show that he is alive and well through the video.

But it is possible that he is already dead.

Experts point out that he mentioned the withdrawal of U.S. troops, but not the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan.

Concerns are growing as al-Qaeda is once again engaged in external activities.

The idea is that al-Qaeda organizations can be resurrected based in Afghanistan.
