Noha Al-Jundi, the lawyer for the victims of the largest fraud operation carried out on websites led by blogger Salma Al-Ghazouli, revealed the details of what happened with her client.

Al-Gindi told Masrawy on Thursday that Salma Al-Ghazouli, as the accused in these operations, caused about 2,000 victims among women and girls who wanted to trade clothes, confirming that she obtained sums amounting to 900 million pounds.

Blogger Salma Al-Ghazouli, a twenty-year-old woman who is interested in selling clothes under the “SheIn International” brand, followed a deceptive trick to defraud clothing merchants, and claimed to give them discounts on clothes and all SheIn products, but on the condition that the money be transferred through “InstaPay” and other transfers away from Direct bank transfers.

Al-Ghazouli relied on promoting itself through social networking sites, and took advantage of celebrity blogger pages to advertise its products.

One of those affected by the Salma El-Ghazouli fraud operation published a post on Facebook, in which she said: “The ones in the picture are the swindlers, Salma El-Ghazouli and her sisters, the largest gang formation in the history of Egypt, the owner of the fashion page for which all bloggers in Egypt make advertisements, and with them is Kholoud.” The owner of the Al-Waseet Shipping Group page, these swindlers carried out the largest scam in the history of Egypt.”

A group of girls affected by the Salma El-Ghazouli scam filed reports against her at the Ashmoun Police Department in Menoufia, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Internet Investigations, and the Public Funds Investigations, accusing her of defrauding and defrauding them, taking advantage of social media.

“Al-Jindi,” the victims’ defense, said that Salma Al-Ghazouli, her brother, and others were arrested on charges of fraud, while the last accused, Kholoud Al-Sawy, owner of Al-Waseet Company, fled outside the country, explaining: There are 13 girls out of a total of 1,000 victims who contacted her among Salma Al-Ghazouli’s victims to defend them. .

The competent prosecution decided to imprison Al-Ghazouli and her brother Muhammad on charges of seizing one billion pounds from about 2,000 victims of international brand clothing merchants through her “Alamoda” page for 4 days pending investigation, and assigned the Criminal Investigation Department to quickly conduct investigations into the incident.

Salma Al-Ghazouli and her brother were deported to Menoufia Governorate, due to the large number of reports in the Ashmoun Center. The prosecution ordered their detention pending investigations, and requested investigations from the Public Funds Investigations and Criminal Investigations into the incident after the blogger and her brother insisted on denying that they were setting up the victims.
