Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet” Tops Album Charts Worldwide
Sabrina Carpenter’s sixth and latest album, “Short n’ Sweet,” released on Friday, August 23rd, has achieved a remarkable feat by topping the album charts in 15 countries around the world, including the US and UK charts. This is the first time Sabrina has topped both the US and UK album charts.
The songs on the album have also achieved record-breaking chart results, with three songs ranking in the top five on the latest US singles chart: “Taste” at No. 2, “Please Please Please” at No. 3, and “Espresso” at No. 4. In addition, all 12 songs on the album ranked within the top 50. She is the third female artist in history to have three songs simultaneously ranked in the top five of the US singles chart, after Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.
Sabrina has also made history in the UK singles chart, with “Taste” at No. 1, “Please Please Please” at No. 2, and “Espresso” at No. 3. She is the third artist in history to simultaneously monopolize the top three of the UK album chart and the singles chart, after Ed Sheeran and Harry Styles, and is the first woman and youngest person to achieve this feat, at 25 years old.
The music video for the latest single ”Taste,” released to coincide with the release of the album, reached number one on YouTube’s worldwide trending charts. Directed by Grammy Award-winning Dave Myers, who also directed the music video for the single “Espresso,” and starring young up-and-coming actor Jenna Ortega, known for her role in the Netflix original series “Wednesday,” the video is also attracting attention for its fierce battle between two new generation stars, Sabrina and Jenna.

Following Short n’ Sweet becoming her first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, Sabrina expressed her gratitude on Instagram:

Upcoming Tour
This month Sabrina will kick off a North American arena tour in support of her latest album, Short n’ Sweet, with 33 shows that sold out immediately after the tour was announced.
