Kasatkina lamented the persistence of negative comments even after disabling comment sections, and ultimately suggested avoiding social media altogether as a means of escaping the abuse.
The Problem of Persistent Online Harassment

She questioned why she should alter her social media behavior due to the reactions of others to her athletic performance.
As Kasatkina stated in a recent interview,”At the end of the day,if you want to completely cut this off,you have to forget about social media… don’t use it.”
Hope for AI-Powered Solutions
Kasatkina believes that advancements in artificial intelligence offer a potential path toward mitigating online abuse. She expressed hope that AI technologies could be developed to proactively identify and prevent harassment, particularly after closely contested matches.
“So far we don’t have a strong mechanism to prevent this, but I hope, honestly, with AI and the things like that, I think there is a way to avoid this kind of abuse on the internet, especially after you lose 7-6 in the third,” Kasatkina said.
kasatkina’s Recent personal Experiences
Kasatkina has faced personal challenges in recent years, including publicly disclosing her relationship with figure skater Konstantin Gavrilov in January 2023.
