BOISE, Idaho – Boise State University’s football program added two new players to its roster on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, National Signing Day, head coach Spencer Danielson announced. Offensive lineman Ashton Kershner and defensive lineman Adonte Medley will join the Broncos following their time at the junior college level.
Kershner, a 6-foot-4, 327-pound player from Martin, Tennessee, comes to Boise State after playing at San Jose City College. He started five games at left tackle for the Jaguars as a redshirt sophomore in 2025. Previously, as a redshirt freshman in 2024, he started six games at left tackle and was a key contributor to the team’s 59-27 victory in the California Bowl – the program’s first bowl appearance since 2009.
Before San Jose City College, Kershner redshirted at UT Martin in 2023. He was a standout player at Westview High School in Martin, Tennessee, leading his team to a TSSAA Class 2A State Championship in 2021.
Medley, a 6-foot-6, 300-pound defensive lineman from Palmdale, California, joins the Broncos from the College of the Canyons. In his freshman year at the College of the Canyons in 2025, Medley played in eight games, recording 27 total tackles – 12 solo. Medley was a three-star prospect according to 247Sports during his high school career. He helped lead his team to an 8-5 record and a semifinal appearance in the 2023 CIF Southern Section Playoffs. Throughout his high school career, he amassed 222 total tackles, averaging 8.2 tackles per game, along with 55 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, nine forced fumbles, seven fumble recoveries, two interceptions, and six pass breakups.
These additions come after Boise State initially signed 22 players during the early signing period last December, and added 12 more players earlier on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. The Broncos also recently announced the addition of 15 transfers to the program in January 2026, bringing the total number of incoming players to 33 for the 2025 roster.
