Seventeen Injured in Shenzhen Bay Bridge Tour Bus Collision

– A collision involving two tour buses on the Shenzhen Bay Bridge left seventeen people injured, according to reports. The incident occurred on the bridge heading towards Tuen Mun.

Hong Kong police have arrested the driver of one of the buses following the crash. Initial investigations suggest the bus ran into railings at approximately 1:50 PM on Sunday. The driver is reportedly being investigated for dangerous driving.

Emergency services responded to the scene and confirmed that ten men and seven women sustained minor injuries. All seventeen passengers were transported to hospitals in Tin Shui Wai and Tuen Mun for treatment.

Traffic on the Tuen Mun-bound lanes of the bridge was temporarily disrupted following the accident, but lanes reopened around 5:00 PM on Sunday.
