Oppo’s next generation of foldable phones is taking shape, and early benchmark results reveal an intriguing configuration for the upcoming Find N6. The device has appeared in Geekbench listings powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, but with a modified CPU setup – a 7-core design instead of the standard 8-core arrangement.
This 7-core variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 comprises two prime cores clocked at 4.61 GHz and five performance cores running at 3.63 GHz. This represents a reduction of one performance core compared to the typical 6+2 configuration found in the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
The Geekbench CPU scores demonstrate strong performance, with 3,524 points in single-core tests and 9,090 points in multi-core tests. The Find N6, identified by model number CPH2765 in the benchmark data, is also shown to include 16GB of RAM. Geekbench OpenCL GPU testing reveals a score of 24,103 points, confirming the integration of the Adreno 840 GPU.
This isn’t the first time Oppo has employed a customized core configuration within its foldable line. The previous generation, the Find N5, also utilized a 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
