In the process, the mother and newborn were taken to the hospital after inhaling the smoke.

Yes, the fire broke out in the obstetrics and gynecology building in Seowon-gu, Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, around 10:09 am today.
It was confirmed that there were 122 people in the building at the time, including 46 mothers and newborns.
When the fire broke out, everyone evacuated on their own or was rescued by the 119 rescue team.
In the process, 10 people, including the mother, inhaled smoke or were injured, and are being treated at a nearby hospital.
Fortunately, no serious injuries are reported.
All other mothers and newborns were dispersed and transported to a nearby obstetrics and gynecology department.
The obstetrics and gynecology building that caught fire consists of a 7-story old building and a 10-story new building.
The fire started on the ceiling of the parking lot on the first floor of the new building.
If you look at the video at the time of the fire, the fire started like an explosion from the ceiling of the parking lot.
In an instant, it spreads along the wall and you can see the black smoke spewing out.
It is said that an explosion could be heard in the vicinity of the fire.
The fire was so strong and a lot of smoke rose, so reports were made to the fire department.
The fire department issued the first stage of response and put in about 30 fire trucks and other equipment and 90 people to extinguish the fire.
All fires were extinguished within three hours of the fire.
While the fire department is conducting an internal search, they are investigating the exact cause of the fire together with the relevant authorities such as the police.
