Palakkad: A middle-aged man died after falling from a running private bus in Erimayur. A native of Erimayur, TP Johnson passed away.
He died after falling from the bus door while jumping the hump. The accident happened near Erimayur High School at 8.45am on Friday. The bus door was locked.
The accident happened after Johnson got on the bus and walked 200 metres. He fell out when the bus jumped the hump.
Johnson, who sustained severe head injuries, was first admitted to a private hospital in Alathur and then to Thrissur Medical College.
But he died in the evening. Johnson was going to work in a private company in Kanalur.
