The price of gold fell today, Tuesday, in the middle of trading, and the gram increased by 40 pounds, compared to its level at the beginning of trading, according to what Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy.
The price of a gram of gold fell by 120 pounds at the beginning of trading.

14-karat gold prices fell to 2067 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 carat gold fell to 2657 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold reached 3,100 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold fell to 3543 pounds per gram.
The price of the gold pound
The price of the gold pound fell to 24,800 pounds. The price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
Gold price globally
The price of gold globally fell to about $2,303 per ounce (an ounce is equivalent to about a 24-karat gram), a decrease of 1.02%, according to the latest update of Bloomberg data.
