Japan’s Sponicianex reported on the 18th (Korea time) that “Ohtani’s mural was painted near Los Angeles, USA.”
According to reports, the place where the mural was etched is in a residential area of Hermosa Beach, about a 40-minute drive away from Dodger Stadium.
Ohtani was wearing a Dodgers uniform with Mookie Betts then.
Mural artist Gustavo Gelmeno Jr. said, “I heard that Ohtani had signed with the Dodgers, so I got permission from the landlord and painted him. I hope we can lead them to a World Series championship.”

Otani’s murals aren’t the only ones here. A mural depicting Ohtani wearing a Dodgers uniform and holding a bat was also created in downtown LA. The word ‘SHO-TIME’ was also engraved on it.
