This time, we will review ANBERNIC’s exclusive model “ANBERNIC K101 PLUS”, which has released many portable game machines.
This has a great feature that other so called “Chinese game machines” don’t have. That is, you can play by inserting the Game Boy Advance cassette (cartridge) as is.
Recently, home appliance retailers have been selling Famicom compatible machines that can be played by inserting a Famicom cassette, but this machine is the GBA version.
Also, if you insert the included K-CARD instead of the GBA cartridge, you can run emulators other than the GBA, or insert a microSD card into the K-CARD and use it.
Still, it’s compact as ↓. It looks like an NES controller.
It is a Chinese game machine that can be enjoyed in different ways. This time, I bought a Game Boy Advance cassette in Akihabara and played it. (described later)

Appearance and specifications
First of all, it comes with the game console, AC cable, screwdriver, screen protector, instruction manual, and a small USB cable for charging.
The only disappointing point is that the charging is mini USB, but other than that, it works well with no complaints.
The main body is the color scheme of a Famicom controller. However, unlike the Famicom, it has A/B/X/Y and L/R buttons.
The display is a 3-inch LCD with 480 x 320 resolution and 8 levels of adjustable backlight.
SoC is a dual core of ARM7 and ARM9. The battery capacity is 800mAh.
At the top, there is a small USB port for charging, a 2.5mm AV output jack (it can be output with the included AV cable), an Ext.1 port for a link cable that performs multi-play with GBA, and a multi-function button.
Various settings can be made by pressing the multi-function button along with other buttons. On your own, you can adjust the brightness of the backlight, press the A button at the same time to turn on / off continuous fire, press the L button at the same time to return to the menu, sleep with the R button , save progress with the Start button, etc.
At the bottom is the part where the cartridge is inserted and the 3.5mm earphone jack.

The battery can be removed with the included screwdriver. Compatible with Nokia BL-5B 3.8v 800mAh battery.
The weight of the main unit alone is 134g.
Including the cassette, it’s 147g.
Default cartridges are multi-K-CARD
By default, a cartridge called K-CARD is inserted.
It includes emulators like Game Boy, Famicom, Game Gear, and Game Cube. It also has a microSD card slot as shown below. For those who have the ROM image of the cartridge they purchased.
