This evening, the home of star Drake in Toronto was subjected to a fire attack, which resulted in one person being injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
CBC reported details of the incident, as the injured man was immediately taken to hospital, and paramedics reported that the man’s injuries were not life-threatening.
Meanwhile, Toronto police confirmed that the international star was not the target, and wrote in a brief post on the “X” website that the shooting occurred at approximately 2:10 a.m. Eastern time near the corner of Bayview and Lawrence streets, and responding officers found a man injured. In a serious condition, he was transported to nearby Sunnybrook Hospital.
In addition, some press information revealed that the man who was shot was one of Drake’s security guards, while the police confirmed that the suspect fled in a car, and no descriptions were provided about his appearance or the car he was driving.
A police source also confirmed that the ongoing investigation focuses on Drake’s house, as the streets leading to it were closed and patrol cars were seen at the place.
