A Venezuelan inspires children by creating stories in Spain

Melisa Parra, a Venezuelan educator with an innate talent for narrative, is leaving an inspiring mark on the world of children’s literature from her residence in Spain.

With her latest book “Tomás Wants to Learn,” Melisa continues her mission to educate and entertain children through captivating stories.

Since her arrival in Barcelona in 2016, Melisa has faced challenges as a migrant, but has found in writing a way to express her passion for education and creativity. Graduated with a degree in Preschool Education in Venezuela, Melisa has dedicated 19 years of her life to teaching and motivating the little ones.

Through her “Cuentajuego” project, Melisa has created a space where children can immerse themselves in fascinating stories and learn valuable lessons in a fun and entertaining way. With a focus on teaching values ​​and skills important for child development, Melisa has won the hearts of children and parents alike.
