The Little Prince Gets a Malay Version in the Thai Dialect
Supoj Lohsombat, a devoted writer and collector of Pattani University alumni, has taken his love for The Little Prince literature to the next level. Transforming himself into a father figure, Lohsombat has recently launched a Malay version of The Little Prince in the Thai dialect.
This initiative stemmed from Lohsombat’s admiration for The Little Prince and his desire to make the timeless tale accessible to a wider audience. Drawing inspiration from his own cultural background, he embarked on this project to provide a fresh and unique perspective on the beloved story.
In a similar realm of artistic creativity, Los Angeles witnessed the breathtaking play Waterfall the Musical. Several years ago, Takonkiat Wirawan joined forces with Broadway, with the talented Bie-Sukrit Wisetkaew taking the lead role. Inspired by the story behind “the picture,” Charlotte Donavanik eagerly anticipates the play’s appearance alongside Broadway actors. Thai audiences are in for a treat as Mr. Boy-Takonkiat brings the production to Thailand, complete with a mesmerizing stage featuring a captivating waterfall. The play will grace the stage of Muang Thai Rachadalai from September 13th to October 1st.
