Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi police have warned truck and bus operators against using roads in foggy conditions.

The Directorate of Traffic and Patrols of the Abu Dhabi Police said that owners of heavy vehicles, trucks and buses, as well as officials from companies that carry workers, should ask drivers of these vehicles to be vigilant in this regard and to ban the movement of such vehicles during foggy times.
‘Vehicles violating the law will be fined 500 dirhams. In addition, four black dots will be affixed to the driver’s license, police said in a statement. The decision was made to avoid accidents due to reduced visibility due to fog in various parts of Abu Dhabi.
