Acer has launched its new Nitro 30 desktop computer featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F processor and an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card, according to reporting by PurePC and video game hardware outlet VideoCardz.

Acer Nitro 30 Hardware Specifications and Component Pairing

At the core of the Acer Nitro 30 sits an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F processor based on the Hawk Point APU and Zen 4 microarchitecture, featuring 8 cores and 16 threads with clock speeds ranging from 4100 to 5000 MHz, as detailed by VideoCardz. The processor restricts the graphics bus to PCIe 4.0 x8 for the discrete GPU, whereas the bundled custom AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card is natively designed to utilize PCIe 5.0 x16. Despite the bus limitation, the Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card included in the build packs 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, a Total Board Power of 304 W, and clock speeds reaching up to 2970 MHz, according to published specifications. The system is built around an AMD B850 chipset and houses 32 GB of DDR5 RAM operating at 5600 MT/s across two 16 GB DIMM slots without expansion options.
