Aces’ Wilson to Miss Game; Bueckers’ Role Key ‍for Wings

las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson‍ will sit out Friday’s game against the‍ Dallas Wings ⁣after entering concussion protocol. The declaration follows an injury sustained in Wednesday’s ⁤loss to the ‌Los Angeles Sparks,where Wilson ​took a blow to the⁢ face in the third quarter.

Aces coach Becky Hammon commented after⁣ the game,”She was⁢ bleeding. She’s going to ‌go⁣ to the doctor tomorrow and see what’s‍ going on. I don’t have anything beyond that.”

This marks‌ the first game this season the Aces will be without Wilson, a three-time MVP. She‌ has been averaging 20.9 points, 9.6 rebounds, 4 assists, 2.6 blocks, and 2 steals per game. The aces currently hold a 4-4 ⁣record.

Meanwhile, the Dallas‍ Wings are ‌looking to secure their second win of the‌ season. They face injury challenges with Ty harris sidelined due​ to season-ending knee surgery, Maddy Siegrist out with⁢ a right knee injury, and Teiara McCowan unavailable due to EuroBasket ​commitments.
