In addition to selling only the ACT47, we will also sell the high-quality Pentaconn Ear cable “ARX500”, which uses a high-purity 8-core OFC configuration, and the special aluminum case “AAC01” which can accommodate the already released ACT camera . The two products except ACT47 will be released on February 9th, and only ACT47 will be released in early March. The price is 300,700 yen for ACT47, 54,780 yen for ARX500 and 11,000 yen for AAC01.
The HS2000 series, called “SHO”, is a flagship model featuring Acoustune’s exclusive dynamic driver technology. This time the HS2000MX MKIII has a black and silver main body and is equipped with a new ACT camera with the number 47.
Pure silver chamber “ACT47”
The ACT47 has a CNC-cut sterling silver chamber and is said to have “achieved excellent sound field and spatial expressiveness through exceptional treble extension and tuning that takes advantage of the metal’s high specific gravity.”
It adopts a composite configuration that combines a “Milinx diaphragm” made of medical-grade polymer biomaterial with a “Japanese beryllium thin-film machined dome”. By finding new suppliers and vetting them, we were able to implement materials that had previously been impossible to use due to availability, mass production and cost considerations.
While maintaining the characteristics of a dynamic driver, such as linear, seamless reproduction across all bands and rich bass, the highly rigid metal dome suppresses resonance and produces tight bass with effective damping. The playback frequency band is 10 Hz to 25 kHz, the impedance is 24 Ω at 1 kHz, and the sensitivity is 110 dB/mW.
The ACT47, sold separately, comes with a special aluminum case “AAC01” that can hold up to 6 pairs of ACT chambers, which will be described later.
The earphones are “AEX50” with a unique dual-wing shape using SMP Technologies’ “SMP iFit” shape memory polymer, “AEX70” which is based on the currently available AEX07 with adjusted shape and wall thickness, and Acoustune includes the reference earphone “AEX07” and the module type “AET02”.
Sizes included are XS, S, M, L, XL for AEX50, S, M, L for AEX70 and AEX07 and free size for AET02.
ARX500 is the brand’s first cable with a removable plug.
The cable included with the HS2000MX MKIII is the ARX500, which is also sold separately and is the first from the brand to feature a removable 3.5mm plug and a 4.4mm balanced plug. The 8-conductor braided structure of the high-purity OFC wire prevents audio signal transmission loss by twisting wires with different core diameters into an optimal ratio, improving the S/N ratio across the entire frequency range. The earphone side connector is Pentaconn Ear.
The metal parts of each part are made of titanium, which has excellent corrosion resistance, and the sheath is made of Japanese-made PVC, which is also used for microphone cables. Additionally, the cable’s triple-shielded construction provides high noise resistance and reduced crosstalk. The ARX500, sold separately, comes with a spacer that allows you to adjust the length of the Pentaconn Ear connector. Using this, you can alternate between short/long Pentaconn Ear types, and although specifications differ depending on the manufacturer or model, you can rewire with an ARX500 cable. Acoustune products can also be used in the MASTER series (HS series) and MONITOR series (RS series).
「AAC01」
The AAC01, an aluminum case exclusively for ACT cameras, can hold up to 6 pairs of optional ACT cameras for the HS2000 series. The aluminum case with excellent shock resistance, urethane interior and specially designed chamber space offer both high protection performance and convenient portability.
The exterior has a chic vibe with a black-based design that “creates a special feeling, as if storing luxury jewelry in a treasure chest.”
If you remove the urethane inside the case, it can also be used as an earphone case. The replacement camera stick provided with the product can be used with the ST2000, which is scheduled to be put into service in Japan in the future.
