Doha അധികൃത Authorities have taken legal action against 135 people for failing to take precautionary measures. Action was taken against 132 people for not wearing masks and 2 for violating quarantine conditions. Action was also taken against someone for not installing Ihteras on a mobile phone.
Masks are not mandatory in open public spaces such as parks and beaches, but are mandatory in closed public places such as markets, exhibitions, event venues, universities, churches, schools, hospitals and shopping malls.
Violators will be prosecuted under the Prevention of Infectious Diseases Act No. 17 of 1990.
Authorities have already taken action against tens of thousands of people.
