Actor Kenneth Mitchell Dies at 49 After Battle with Lou Gehrig’s Disease

Kenneth Mitchell, who appeared in the film ‘Captain Marvel’, died after battling Lou Gehrig’s disease. 49 years old.

Mitchell’s family said in a statement on the 25th (local time), “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Kenneth Alexander Mitchell, our father, husband, brother, uncle, son, and dear friend.”

He continued, “Even in pain, he never lost his grace and dedication at every moment. “Every day I live now is a gift, and I have lived by the principle of never walking alone,” he said.

Kenneth Mitchell died today after suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) for five years.

Kenneth Mitchell was diagnosed with ALS in 2018 and has been dependent on a wheelchair since 2019. He confessed this fact at the time and said, “I was able to accept this with grace. “It’s a gift to be able to experience life in a way that most people don’t,” he said.

Kenneth Mitchell appeared in ‘Miracle’ in 2004 and appeared in ‘Star Trek: Discovery’, ‘Captain Marvel’, and ‘Jericho’.

The official ‘Star Trek’ site also paid tribute to the deceased in a statement, saying, “The entire Star Trek family extends its condolences to Mitchell’s family, friends, loved ones and fans around the world.”

Brian Randle, photographer and long-time lover of Sandra Bullock, died on August 5 last year at the age of 57 after a three-year battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease.
