Actor Lee Deok-hwa (72) remembered a car accident in the past.

On the 7th, on ‘LERKK Lee Gyeong-gyu’ YouTube channel, ‘Lee Deok-hwa faced a choice at every moment. A video called ‘Talk please’ was uploaded.

In the video, Lee Deok-hwa looked back on his acting life. Lee Deok-hwa, who started as a theater actor in 1972, made his official debut as a talent in the 13th Dongyang Broadcasting to be confirmed in the same year. Lee Deok-hwa hit the jackpot with the film ‘Really Really Don’t Forget’ (1976), where he starred with actress Lim Ye-jin. After that, ‘I’m Really, Really Sorry’ (1976) was also a box office success, making him the representative youth star of the 1970s. He was active as a leading male actor in the 1980s and 1990s. He has shown charismatic acting in dramas such as ‘Han Myeong-hoe’ (1994), ‘Love and Ambition’ (2006), and ‘Women in the World’ (2001-2002).

Lee Deok-hwa said, “Suddenly, a director came to see me, and that person was the late director Moon Yeo-song (1932-2009). “The first films he did after coming were the ‘Really Real’ series,” he said. “Back then, unlike now, it was released in one theater first. From the first episode to the last, there was a crowd of students wearing school uniforms. “So when I started filming that movie, I got to play a part that people would recognize on the street.”

Lee Deok-hwa said, “I tell my younger children not to fuss when things are going well. “When people go through hard times and see the light, they relax, and that’s when accidents happen,” he said. “The youth of my life was a matter of life or death,” he said, recalling a car accident that occurred in 1977.

“At that time, when the motorcycle accident and the ‘Really Real’ series was over and the stock price had just gone up, I told him I shouldn’t be fussy. That one room was too big. “I was in hospital for three years,” he admitted. “I barely survived and now I’m able to pull myself together and live with the help of many people. “I still say I survived thanks to others,” he said.

Lee Deok-hwa said, “At first, almost everyone said he would die, and his colleagues at the broadcasting station said, ‘He won’t be able to make it.’ I said, ‘Let’s meditate and collect the sympathy money.’ “I got about 4,000 stitches,” he said, surprising everyone. Deokhwa Lee said, “The doctor said so. Still, there was no damage to the heart, liver or lungs, but there was a lot of damage to the intestines. It was to the point where I had to cut it off at a time of 1m. “Even now, it’s not a joke, I respect people in white gowns with all my heart,” he emphasized. “I think a lot of people will be able to get on with their lives again because of those people,” he added.
