Actress Tang Wei strongly denied rumors of a divorce from her husband, director Kim Tae-yong, saying, “This can never happen.”
On the 10th (local time), Tang Wei’s interview video was released on the online channel ‘The Do Show’. In this video, Tang Wei conducted an exclusive interview with the famous Hong Kong actor Zheng Yu-ling.
Tang Wei, who was asked about divorce rumors, firmly said, “It’s impossible,” and “Divorce can never happen.”
Tang Wei currently lives in Beijing, China with her daughter, and Director Kim travels back and forth between Korea and China for her work.
“We focus on taking care of our daughter,” she explained, “My husband goes to Korea when he has work, and we take care of our daughter together in Beijing.”
Tang Wei also expressed his liking for Director Kim. He said, “When my daughter grows up and gets married, she will have her own family. “In the end, I always prioritize my husband over my daughter because I can grow old with my spouse,” she said, adding, “I cherish the time I spent with Kim Tae-yong.”
Tang Wei also talked about her father-in-law relationship. He said, “When I lived in Korea, Taeyong Kim and his family were very kind. “There was no need for the mother-in-law to trouble the daughter-in-law,” he said, emphasizing once again that “divorce is absolutely impossible.”
Meanwhile, Tang Wei and director Kim became lovers through the film ‘End of Autumn’ (2010), married in 2014, and had a daughter in 2016.
