AdventHealth has appointed Justin Birmele as president and CEO for both AdventHealth Gordon in Calhoun, Ga., and AdventHealth Murray in Chatsworth, Ga. the appointment, effective June 15, brings a wealth of experience to the leadership roles.
BirmeleS extensive background includes more than 20 years in healthcare leadership, primarily within the AdventHealth system.His most recent role was CEO of AdventHealth Winter Park in Florida.
During his tenure at AdventHealth Winter Park, Birmele spearheaded several significant projects. These included the growth of a 140-bed patient pavilion, the construction of a new emergency room, and the establishment of a cancer institute, according to a news release.
