FTR & Bandido vs. the Hurt syndicate (Brody King & Toa)
The match began with a lock-up between Dax Harwood and Bandido, leading to a fast-paced exchange of holds and rope running. Dax took control early with a shoulder block. A standing switch led to a pinfall attempt by Bandido. Cash Wheeler entered the match, trading holds with Bandido before being leg-tripped and taken down. Bandido then sent Dax to the floor, followed by Cash.
The Hurt Syndicate, watching from backstage, attempted interference. Dax grabbed a chair, but the referee confiscated it. Brody King was tagged in, quickly overpowering Wheeler with a push and a series of chops. Dax re-entered, attempting to strike King, but to no avail. King continued his assault on Dax, sending him down with repeated chops. Dax briefly rallied with a piledriver, but King recovered and took down both FTR members.
King then utilized Bandido, sending him onto Dax.FTR attempted a double-team on King, sending him through the ropes into a loaded sling – appearing to be a pipe. Dax grabbed a microphone, demanding respect for Big Stoke as King bled from the forehead near the announce table.
Following a commercial break, Brody King, visibly bleeding, tagged in Bandido, who took down Wheeler with a head scissors and then targeted Dax. FTR briefly regained control, sending Bandido headfirst into the apron. Dax delivered a brainbuster to bandido for a near fall. FTR continued their double-team offense.
Cash wheeler was tagged in, but onyl managed a two-count. He applied a headlock to Bandido, preventing a tag. Dax re-entered, setting Bandido up on the top rope before delivering a chop. Bandido responded with chops of his own,sending Dax crashing to the mat. He followed with a crossbody for another near fall.
Another commercial break led to the match ultimately ending in a Time Limit Draw. The result sets up a three-way tag team championship match at Forbidden Door. The Hurt Syndicate stared down FTR and Bandido after the bell.
Winners: Time Limit Draw
MJF & Hangman Page Contract Dispute
AEW World Champion Hangman Page came to the ring to address his recent attack by MJF. Page called MJF a “gutless coward” and vowed to defeat him without any underhanded tactics.
MJF appeared on the big screen, revealing Mark Briscoe, Ricochet, and a member of the Gunns were tied up. He issued three demands for their Forbidden Door match: the title can change hands by disqualification or count-out, and he doesn’t have to use his championship contract.
MJF threatened to harm Briscoe, even simulating pouring gasoline on him. Page, under duress, agreed to MJF’s stipulations. He then headed backstage, attempting to locate MJF, but was unsuccessful.
Mercedes Mone & Athena vs. Toni Storm & Alex Windsor
The main event featured a clash between Mercedes Mone & Athena and Toni Storm & Alex Windsor. Persephone was present at ringside.
The match began with Windsor and Mone, with Mone quickly gaining the upper hand. Storm tagged in, attempting to intimidate Mone with a theatrical “Get in my belly!” line. Mone tagged out to Athena, who briefly dominated Storm before being turned around.
During a commercial break, the action continued. Upon returning, athena accidentally struck Mone. Storm and Windsor gained momentum, with Storm hitting Athena with a suplex. Windsor then tagged in and delivered a lariat to Mone, followed by a two-count.
The match saw several momentum shifts, including Athena and Mone double-teaming Storm. Windsor attempted a scorpion death lock on Mone, but Athena intervened, hitting Windsor from behind and securing the pinfall victory.
Winners: mercedes Mone & Athena
Storm’s neck was checked by medical personnel as the show concluded.
