During a recent YouTube livestream, Matt Jackson discussed the gimmick. He said the idea to dress as the literal Founding Fathers came together as a collaboration. He specifically credited Mike Mansury, AEW’s EVP and Head of global Production, for his contributions. Mansury, according to Jackson, crafted Justin Roberts’ introductory remarks for the segment.
Mansury joined AEW in 2022 as Senior Vice President and Co-Executive Producer. Before AEW,he was WWE’s Vice President of global Television Production. Josh Matthews is currently working alongside Mansury.
The Young Bucks maintained their “Founding Fathers” costumes throughout the Anarchy in the Arena match. Matt Jackson later joked about the discomfort caused by the sweat accumulating inside the outfit. However, he appreciated the added layer of protection when Kenny Omega sent him through an exploding table.
