The price of gold fell today, Thursday, in Egypt in the middle of trading, and a gram fell by 50 pounds, compared to prices at the beginning of trading, according to what Nadi Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy.
The price of a gram of gold jumped 150 pounds at the beginning of trading.

The price of 14 karat gold fell to 2,100 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 carat gold recorded about 2700 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold fell to 3,150 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold fell to 3,600 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound fell to 25,200 pounds, and the price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
Gold price globally
The price of gold rose globally to about $3,157 per ounce (an ounce is equivalent to about 31.1 grams of 24 karat gold), an increase of 0.43% in midday trading on Thursday, recording its highest level historically, according to the latest update of Bloomberg data.
