Al-Masry Al-Youm reveals the features of the Egyptian national team’s roster, during the first camp of Hossam Hassan, who took over the technical management, succeeding Portuguese Rui Vitoria, following the disappointing exit from the African Cup of Nations.

Al-Masry Al-Youm learned that Hossam Hassan intends to include Mostafa Schubert, Al-Ahly’s goalkeeper, in the next camp in the Emirates after his brilliance with Al-Ahly during the recent period.

Hossam Hassan contacted Al-Ahly duo Hussein El-Shahat and Amr El-Soulia, and informed them of the possibility of their return to the Egyptian national team squad during the next stage, and that the door is open for everyone to be on the “Pharaohs” list.

The “Dean” places as his top priority the need to replenish blood in the Egyptian national team squad during the next stage, starting with the Emirates camp, and Hossam Hassan and his assistant staff are keen to follow the local league matches in order to nominate new elements for the team from different clubs.

Al-Masry Al-Youm learned that Hossam Hassan decided to include Hossam Ashraf, the striker of the Mahalla Municipality team, and Mustafa Zico, the Z player, to give them a chance in the next Emirates camp.

Hossam Ashraf is the top scorer in the General League with 9 goals, while Zico comes in third with 7 goals.

The “Dean” is also considering giving the opportunity to Ramadan Sobhi, the Pyramids player, during the next camp, along with Abdel Rahman Magdy and Nader Farag from Ismaily.

In addition to these names, there will be: Ahmed Sayed Zizo, from (Zamalek), Mohamed Hani, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Yasser Ibrahim, Marawan Attia (Al-Ahly), Mostafa Fathi, Ahmed El-Shenawy, and Mohamed Hamdy (Pyramids).

It is scheduled that Mohamed El-Shenawy, Al-Ahly’s goalkeeper, will be excluded from the next camp, due to injury, and the fate of Ahmed Fattouh, Zamalek’s left back, will be decided after confirming that he has recovered from the injury.
