[스포츠한국 조은애 기자] Comedian Ahn Young-mi issued a legal response to the spread of false information regarding suspected childbirth.
On the 12th, the agency’s Media Lab Seeso said, “Ahn Young-mi has temporarily stopped broadcasting activities to share the joy of birth with her husband, who lives and works in the United States.”
“Considering the special circumstances of her husband’s working life in the United States, Ahn Young-mi and his wife discussed and prepared for a long time from the moment they heard the news of the pregnancy. In order for the couple to share the first precious moment of having a child together, the husband gave up his working life. “I decided it was more realistic for Ahn Young-mi, who has a job that allows her to manage relatively flexible, temporarily suspending broadcasting activities, so she made the best choice for her family to be together.”
“The agency has refrained from responding as much as possible for fear of the controversy growing, which is different from the essence. However, so far, malicious comments about Ahn Young-mi and even the a child in the belly that we cannot remember, and false facts are being spread through the community and social media. They are being distributed. Accordingly, the agency judged that it could no longer be ignored or ignored, and is reviewing strong legal action against them.”
The agency added, “We earnestly ask you to refrain from excessive speculation or slander about the artist so that everyone can welcome a new life happily as the family has made the decision to be together before the big tilt of giving birth .”
Ahn Young-mi previously married a non-celebrity in 2020 and announced the pregnancy earlier this year. Expected delivery date is July. In the middle of this, as it became known that Ahn Young-mi was supposed to give birth in the United States, where her husband is currently staying, doubts were raised that it was an expedition birth for the child.
In response, Ahn Young-mi replied in a comment on her social media on the 8th, saying, “I would have gone whether my husband was in Vietnam or the Philippines.”
