PC component prices are on the rise, creating a difficult situation for builders and buyers. Intel CPUs (12th, 13th, and 14th generations) are experiencing price hikes of up to 20% in overseas markets. Nvidia’s RTX 5000 Super line is perhaps facing a “paper launch” or price increases due to shortages of GDDR7 memory,which is becoming more valuable for AI applications. Several companies, including Adata, TeamGroup, and Framework, have warned about availability and pricing issues. Micron has even discontinued its consumer brand, Crucial, to focus on HBM and enterprise customers. the outlook for PC building is looking challenging.
