On the night of May 9, the Russians attacked Ukraine using 20 attack UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type. This was reported by the official Telegram channel of the commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Nikolai Oleshchuk.
The aggressors launched their attack drones from Cape Chauda – Crimea.
As a result of combat work, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 17 attack UAVs. All the suicide bombers were shot down in the Odessa region.
