AJ Jones Appointed Chief Strategy Officer at McCann UK
McCann UK has named AJ Jones as it’s new Chief Strategy Officer, effective October 1, 2024, according too adweek. Jones will lead teh agency’s strategic efforts, building on recent successes including an IPA Effectiveness accreditation and a gold Creative Effectiveness Lion.
Jones returns to the U.K. after serving nearly five years as Chief Strategy Officer for McCann Canada. In a note to staff shared with Little Black Book, Jones expressed her enthusiasm for applying global perspectives to the U.K. market.
mccann Canada Achievements under Jones’ Leadership
During her tenure at McCann Canada, the agency achieved significant recognition, earning Silver for Digital Agency of the Year in 2024, Bronze for Agency of the Year in 2023, and Silver for Digital Agency of the Year in 2022. ryan Timms, President of McCann Canada, stated that Jones “made McCann Canada a stronger, more effective agency in every way,” as reported by Little Black Book.
Joshua Hansen will succeed Jones as McCann Canada’s Chief Strategy Officer.
