Al-Hilal recovers against Al-Fateh…and Bilic’s complex “continues”

Al-Hilal continued to move away from the lead after defeating Al-Fateh 3-1 on Friday in the 29th round of the Saudi Roshen League, thus dedicating the knot to Croatian Slaven Bilic, the coach of the visiting team.

Al-Fateh took the lead through Armenian Lucas Zelaryan in the second half, before Brazilian Michel quickly equalized the score and Portuguese Ruben Neves added the second goal from a penalty kick, with Ali Al-Bulaihi scoring the last goal of the match in the 105th minute.

Al-Hilal is now moving away from Al-Nasr, its closest competitor, with a difference of 12 points and a postponed match against Al-Ahly, with 80 points, while Al-Fateh settled in sixth place with 40 points.

Bilic played 3 matches against Al Hilal, losing all of them. The first two matches with the Al-Ittihad logo were in the two matches of the 2018-2019 season, then the first leg ended 3-1 in Riyadh before the Jeddah match ended with two unanswered goals.
