Al-Hilal strengthens the lead in the Saudi League with a hat-trick against Al-Ittihad, with the participation of Hegazy.. Video

Al-Hilal team won the Saudi football Clasico by defeating its professional counterpart, the Jeddah Football Association, within its ranks, the Egyptian international Ahmed Hegazy, with a score of 3-1, at the “Kingdom Arena” stadium, for the 22nd round of the Saudi League competitions.

Kante scored the lead goal for Al-Ittihad against Al-Hilal in the 12th minute, then Saleh Al-Shehri equalized in the 39th minute.

In the second half, Al Hilal scored two consecutive goals through Malcolm and Saud Abdel Hamid in the 59th and 67th minutes of the match.

Al-Hilal vs Al-Ittihad

Al-Hilal tops the Saudi League standings with 62 points, nine points behind Al-Nasr, runner-up and second-place, while Al-Ittihad is in fifth place in the league standings with 37 points, and two points behind Al-Taawoun, which is in fourth place.

This match is considered the first between the two teams out of 3 expected matches between them this March, as they are scheduled to meet in the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League, back and forth.

Al-Hilal missed its Serbian top scorer, Aleksandar Mitrovic, who was suspended, while Al-Ittihad regained Karim Benzema amid great brilliance from Moroccan Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah since the beginning of the season.
