Paris Saint-Germain fails to win the title after a dramatic 3-3 draw with struggling Le Havre

Paris Saint-Germain tied 3-3 at home today, Saturday, against Le Havre, which faces the specter of relegation and will need to wait before confirming its victory in the French Premier League title for the 12th time.

Paris Saint-Germain would have won the title three games ago if it had won today. The team is 12 points ahead of Monaco, which will face Lyon tomorrow, Sunday, and Paris Saint-Germain has a significant advantage in goal difference, (+47) goals compared to Monaco’s difference, which is (+18) goals.

The visiting team opened the scoring in the 19th minute through Christopher Obiri, then Paris Saint-Germain equalized ten minutes later through Bradley Barkula.

But Le Havre took the lead again seven minutes before half-time when Andre Ayew scored.

Le Havre made it 3-1 from a penalty kick from Abdoulaye Toure in the 61st minute, before Achraf Hakimi gave Saint-Germain hope with a goal 12 minutes from time.

Goncalo Ramos equalized for Saint-Germain in stoppage time. Le Havre ranks 15th with 29 points.
