Aloha, Goodbye: The Bittersweet Finale of Hawaii Sitcom’s Third Episode

Aloha, Goodbye: The Bittersweet Finale of Hawaii Sitcom’s Third Episode

Scene Stealer – A role in a movie or drama that is not the lead, but attracts attention like the lead by demonstrating charm, personality, charisma, and acting skills.

It was really loud. From the beginning of my trip to Hawaii, I felt like the week-long trip was coming to an end after experiencing all the things I didn’t need to experience. I was a little tired because I had spent the whole day exploring Oahu on a local tour the previous day, and I wanted to end the trip in a quiet way.

“We’re leaving tomorrow, so how about going to the beach today without the kids playing in the sand and then touring a restaurant we couldn’t go to?”

“Yes, I like everything. “Whatever you want.”

At that time when I was saddened by the thought that I would leave tomorrow and wanted to stay just one more day, but at the same time I wanted to go home quickly, stretch out my legs and sleep, a word from my husband started another incident,

“Can I just try surfing one last time?”

My husband’s back view, 1 second before the surfboard flips over

‘This person hasn’t come to his senses yet, he’s talking like he’s surfing,’ my heart said, but…

My head dried, saying I couldn’t take back the words once they were spoken, and my body was already paying for the surfboard shop. Because I am maintaining the concept of a loving wife!

“Honey, you really can’t disappear from my sight this time. “It’s only right there.”

This time, I told him not to worry, and as I watched my husband excitedly dragging his surfboard into the sea, I immediately turned on my phone and zoomed in as much as possible to keep an eye on him. The picture of my husband in the cell phone camera, where the image quality was ruined due to the zoom being pulled all the way, was truly a sight to behold. He fell off the surfboard and fell over, and he disappeared from the screen for a moment and suddenly rose up from the water. It was a body gag so good that it was a shame to watch it alone.

When I thought of my usually dependable and serious husband, I felt a little, no, very unfamiliar.

That man is my husband, right?

My husband, who likes exercise, had actually said several times before our trip to Hawaii that he wanted to try surfing. However, it was too much for me to sign up for a surfing lesson that would take at least half a day off my trip with my two young daughters, and I was worried about their safety, so they followed my advice. However, this time, I blamed myself for being weak-hearted after being taken in by my husband’s pitiful dog expression, and waited for the surfboard rental time to pass quickly. Finally, it was time to return the surfboard, and my husband, who had been fighting alone in the water, lay down on the sand and gasped for a long time. Only then did I turn off my phone camera and take a breath. ‘Phew, that’s a relief.’

Shall we fill our bellies now? We bought fruit and poke and had lunch on the beach. I was taking MZ-like shots of pretty, colorful fruit with the sea in the background, when my husband hesitated and showed his hand with an apologetic expression.

“I feel like something is stuck in my hand. But it’s okay. “It doesn’t hurt.”

“Oh my, what is this? “I need to get it out quickly, right?”

Isn’t there something like a black, thick thorn stuck in my husband’s hand?

Afraid that I might be surprised, I looked at my husband who kept saying he was fine and said, “Okay, for now, it’s not a matter of life or death, so let’s calm down.”

“Excuse me. Can I get an alcohol swab?”

Who would have thought that I would go to the marine rescue team again? This time, I calmly explained the situation to the rescue worker and asked how to provide first aid. As soon as I heard that I was stung by a sea urchin, the rescue worker stopped me from taking my husband to the hospital right away, and told me to just let it fall out naturally since it is a common occurrence and is not poisonous, so there is no special treatment even if I go to the hospital. Hawaiian marine rescue workers are all so friendly, and their warmth makes you want to have long conversations.

I stopped making a fuss for a while and returned to calm mode. There are so many different things.

Still, I only got stung in one place, so I tried to pull myself together and enjoy the last remaining days of my schedule.

Home Sweet Home!

When I opened my eyes, it was my house! It was a Saturday morning, with a different feeling from the sunny sunshine of Hawaii illuminating our living room. We arrived late the night before, barely had a shower, and all four of us woke up feeling faint and were about to have a quick breakfast, but my husband, holding back his sobs, carefully spoke up.

“Honey, my ribs are a little sore. “I bumped into the surfboard a few times, but it’s okay… I’m okay.”

“Why are you saying that now? “What’s okay?”

Afterwards, while touring the hospital, it was no secret that he was diagnosed with rib incontinence and skin burns!

At this point, who is the true scene stealer of the Hawaiian sitcom?

After the trip, I learned a lot of lessons,
Listen to your wife carefully!
