‘Alto Gwyn 1744’; It will be shown at the Rotterdam Film Festival

The crime comedy film ‘1744 White Alto’ is preparing for its international premiere. The film will be shown at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in January. 1744 White Alto is directed by Senna Hegde and stars Sharafuddin, Vinci, Rajesh Madhavan and Anand Manmathan.

The film has been selected for its international premiere as part of the prestigious ‘Harbour’ programme. The film is produced by Kabini Films, a new Bengaluru-based production house. Rotterdam is similar to other major European festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin and Locarno. It is a film festival that promotes innovative and diverse films.

1744 White Alto was released in theaters in Kerala last November 18. This was a film that was very different because of the excellence of its production. The film won a lot of critical acclaim and audience appreciation. Some considered the film to be an intellectual dark comedy stating that it was a new benchmark for Malayalam. The story progresses through the funny and horrifying events that occur among the minor fonts. As the title suggests, the protagonist is the Suzuki Alto car. The film is set in a fictional location somewhere in Kerala.

The film’s director Senna Hegde had this to say about the film. ” The film is not for everyone; Each person can come out with a different attitude. It is not cerebral, but rather entertaining and provides an insight into human paradox. Every character can be good and bad at the same time, and morality is often a sliding scale, especially in modern times. I tried to present it in my own way.” said Senna Hegde.
