The reason for Melania Trump’s alleged disappearance, or longer absence from the public, is that she was taking care of her seriously ill mother. Slovenian native Amalija Knvasová died at the age of 78. The former first lady remembers her as a woman with grace, devoted to her family.
The former first lady of the USA Melania Trump is going through a very sad time. Her beloved mother Amalija Knvasová died after a serious illness. “Amalija Knvasová was a strong woman who always behaved with grace, warmth and dignity. She was totally devoted to her husband, daughters, grandson and son-in-law. She will be greatly missed and we will continue to honor and love her legacy.” Melania said goodbye to her mother.

Amalija Knvasová was born in Slovenia, where she worked as a model maker in a children’s clothing factory. She raised Melania and her older daughter Ines Knauss before Melania pursued a modeling career and eventually moved to the United States.
During Melania’s time as First Lady, Amalija Knvas lived in the United States and occasionally appeared with her daughter at various public events.
In 2001, Melania received a green card, and five years later, citizenship, and subsequently her parents also immigrated to the country. They were subsequently by her side on her way to the White House. They were retired themselves and spent most of their time at the luxurious Palm Beach Club, owned by their son-in-law.
Melania loved her mother Amalia more than anything.
