On the 21st, a Taiwanese broadcaster that reported the crash of a China Eastern Airlines plane that crashed with 132 people on board is causing controversy by using a model of Asiana Airlines, a domestic airline.

On the 22nd, Taiwan’s terrestrial broadcaster FTV reported the crash of a China Eastern Airlines plane that occurred the day before.

Wang Feng, a former captain of Taiwan’s national airline, China Airlines, who appeared on the broadcast on that day, came out with a model of the airliner to explain the flaws of the plane to the viewers in detail.

However, the model machine he brought with him became a problem. It came out with a model aircraft of Asiana, a Korean airline that has nothing to do with Eastern Airlines.

Wang Feng turned around the model he brought with him and explained the various possibilities of the crashed plane.

In this process, the English logo of ‘Asiana Airlines’, the colored patterns and the Taegeukgi symbolizing Asiana Airlines were exposed as they were.

Asiana Airlines Taiwan branch made a formal complaint to the broadcasting company, and the broadcasting company processed the video privately on YouTube, etc.

Meanwhile, it was confirmed that all 132 passengers on Eastern Airlines Flight MU57 35 were killed on the 21st, departing from Kunming, Wennan, China to Guangdong, Guangdong.

Eastern Airlines Flight Accident Emergency Measures Command Headquarters announced at a press conference on the 26th that “all 123 people on board and 9 crew members were killed.”

“So far, the identities of 120 people, including 114 passengers and 6 flight attendants, have been confirmed,” a Eastern Airlines official said.

In addition, at a press conference held on the 27th, it was announced that all black boxes of the crashed Eastern Airlines passenger dog had been recovered.

Among the two installed black boxes, one additional black box was discovered.

Experts confirmed that the object was a second black box, a flight data recorder (FDR), and transported it to Beijing for reading, the Emergency Action Command explained.

“Other parts of the recording device were damaged a lot, but the appearance of the data storage part was confirmed to be relatively good,” said Zhu Tao, head of the Civil Aviation Administration’s Aviation Safety Office.

FDR includes airplane altitude, speed, wind, etc., airplane attitude, control surface movement, engine thrust, landing gear operation, angle of the flaps that descend upon landing, electricity supply, and air pressure. .

By securing both black boxes, it is expected that the investigation of the cause of the accident, such as the cause of the aircraft’s sudden plunge at the time of the accident, will gain momentum.
