On the 4th, one day before Children’s Day, a group A, a first-year elementary school student, was hit by a van at the school.

This is the starting point of the curvy track near the school back gate.

Group A, who was about to cross the crosswalk towards the apartment, was hit by a vehicle that broke the signal.

After that, group A, who was dragged about 120 meters, turned around the second curve and got out of the car.

The child suffered serious injuries to his head and bones.

The driver of the accident car told the police that he was driving without knowing that Army A was caught.

There were no CCTV or speed cameras here.

Even before the accident, residents felt anxious.

This is because, when it is time to leave school, the one-way, one-lane road is full of illegally stopped vehicles and there is no room for footsteps.

There were complaints from residents saying it looked dangerous, but nothing changed.

An official from the Geoje City Council said that they would review the plan to secure the city budget and prepare CCTV and boarding and disembarking areas.

However, after the accident has already occurred, criticism of the administration of the back book has emerged.

Police are investigating how the driver left the scene of the accident and left the victim.
