A 19-year-old man died late Saturday, December 7, 2025, after being shot by police during a stop in Anaheim, California. The incident occurred at ⁢approximately 9:32 p.m.in the 800 ⁤block of South Philadelphia Street.

According too Anaheim Police Department statements, two officers on patrol approached a‍ group of over a dozen ⁣individuals when a confrontation ensued. This escalated into an exchange of gunfire, resulting in an⁤ officer ⁣shooting the 19-year-old, who succumbed to his‍ injuries ⁤at the scene. Twelve individuals were briefly detained following the shooting,but authorities reported no immediate arrests were made.
