Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has broken his silence regarding the recent dismissal of Ange Postecoglou, stating that simply winning the Europa League was insufficient for the club’s ambitions. Levy acknowledged the emotional high of winning a European trophy, notably the triumph over Manchester United in Bilbao. “You saw the outpouring of emotion with the parade. it was just amazing. We’ve won a European trophy,” Levy said. Though, he emphasized the need for more, setting his sights firmly on domestic and European dominance.The sacking of postecoglou came just 16 days after securing Tottenham’s first trophy in 17 years and their first european title in 41 years, which also secured a Champions League spot.
