Angels to call Up Top Prospect Christian Moore for MLB Debut
The Los Angeles Angels are reportedly calling up infielder Christian Moore, according to Baseball America. The team has not yet confirmed the move. Moore, a first-round pick in last summer’s draft, is considered a top prospect for the Angels.
Moore, 22, has played 79 games in the minor leagues, showcasing a .302/.382/.475 career batting line.In 20 Triple-A games, he hit.350/.424/.575 with four home runs. His performance at the University of Tennessee, were he slugged 34 home runs in 72 games and helped the team win the College World Series, further solidified his potential.
