Even if the dogs have bone cancer, brain degeneration, asthma, etc., and even owes 800,000 yuan in debt to treat the dogs, he will never abandon them. Because he regards dogs as family members and equal beings with humans. In 2020, his beloved dog QQ, who had been with him for many years, died of cancer, which made Ha Guorong very sad and devastated. He uploaded photos of QQ on social platforms to commemorate him. It is known that Ha Guorong’s dog and his wife also died of illness recently, which made him very sad. Ha Guorong himself has also been tortured by diseases, such as depression, basal cell cancer of his right ear, etc. Unfortunately, he committed suicide last night. .

Ha Guorong is committed to helping animals. He has made a short film for the animal organization “Hong Kong Dog Rescue” to appeal for the adoption and help of homeless dogs. He participates in HKDR’s walking fundraisers every year. When he held a concert in 2018, he even donated tickets to HKDR, NPV Stray Animal Medical Fund, etc. for charity sales to support animal rescue work. Ha Guorong also participated in a forum to help stray animals.
