Incheon Metropolitan City Announces the 2023 Logistics Development Award
Incheon Metropolitan City is pleased to announce the launch of the prestigious 2023 Logistics Development Award, which aims to recognize and reward outstanding contributions to the logistics industry. The award scheme is detailed below, and we encourage active participation and recommendations from all relevant organizations and individuals.
Recommended Candidates:
– Representatives of organizations, institutions, and related businesses
– Mayors, county governors, and heads of regions in each sector (personal applications are accepted)
Award Categories:
1. Corporate Sector: This award will be given to companies located in Incheon Metropolitan City or those conducting major business activities within the city area. Eligible companies should demonstrate outstanding business performance in the logistics industry and serve as examples for others or have implemented innovative development plans.
– Special Prize: 1 corporate sector award
2. Individual and Group Sectors: This award will honor individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions to the development of city logistics. Eligible candidates include logistics business executives, academics, and those involved in logistics-related research and development.
– Special Prize: 1 individual and group sector award

– Document Submission Period: From September 25, 2023 (Monday) to October 13, 2023 (Friday)
– Winners Announcement: Mid-November 2023 (published on the city website and notified individually)

Recognition Criteria and Recommendation Limitations:
Recognition Criteria:
– Prohibition of double recognition: The same achievement cannot receive multiple awards. Breaking this rule will result in exclusion from future recommendations for 2 years.
– Prohibition of repeated praise: No recognition for achievements in the same field within 2 years or for the same discipline within a year, except for those with special achievements that contribute to city administration.
Recommendation Limitations:
– Local tax offenses (possible recommendation after full payment)
– Persons with criminal punishments or social criticism
– Those undergoing investigation or awaiting criminal proceedings
– Persons sentenced to death, life imprisonment, or over 3 years of imprisonment
– Persons sentenced to prison or jail for less than 3 years (if less than 5 years have passed since completion of sentence)
– Persons fined twice or more within 3 years before the recommendation
(Note: The special laws on sexual violence and prostitution prevent recommendations for offenders in these categories)

– If the rule prohibiting double recognition is broken, recognition recommendations will be excluded for 2 years.
② Prohibition of repeated praise: No recognition for achievements in the same field within 2 years or for the same discipline within a year.
