Anti-hijab protests are growing stronger in Iran

Tehran: Anti-hijab protests intensify in Iran School children are said to have started the protest. In the eastern city of Shiraz, scores of schoolgirls blocked traffic and took to the streets in an anti-hijab protest on Monday. The protest was by removing the hijab and waving it in the air. There are reports of female students taking part in protests in the northwestern cities of Saqqez and Sanandaj, as well as in the capital, Tehran. According to reports, children who called Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khamenei a dictator, took off their hijab and protested in front of his picture.
