FEUOK has announced that it will convene an emergency meeting today to discuss the film’s release. The producers had put forward several options for the release of the film. Producer Antony Perumbavoor had hinted that the release of Marakkar could be shifted to OTD platforms.

However, the theater owners demanded immediate action. It was in response to this demand that the Film Chamber intervened in the matter. He also had discussions with Chamber President G Sureshkumar Mohanlal and Antony Perumbavoor. The meeting with Fiok today is based on this discussion.
In the meantime, the producer had begun to refund the money paid by the theater owners. It was also announced that the film would be released on OTT platform but in parallel in theaters. But this is unlikely to be accepted by the theater organization.
